The following document is the privacy policy for the ChallengeNet.net website (here-in refered to as "ChallengeNet.net" or "the site"). By using this website, you indicate your agreement and acceptance of this privacy policy.

1. Disclosure of information

We will not give or sell any personally identifiable information to anyone. The only exception is if we are required to give your information to law enforcement agencies, or if we are ordered by the courts to do so. Otherwise, we take all reasonable steps to insure your personal information is kept private.

In certain cases, when users choose to provide personal information when filling out our online forms (including the contact form), this information may be shared with third-parties in order to fulfill the request of the individual or entitiy filling out the form. The personal information submitted is however otherwise kept private, and is not shared with any advertisers unless the user requests it.

Registered members have the option of providing additional information in their public member profiles. In all cases this additional information is optional to the member and facilities are provided to the member to decide which information is publicly displayed on their profile. The user accepts full responsibility for any and all information they provide, and agree to hold ChallengeNet.net, its Officials, affiliates and any third-parties blameless and harmless for any damages, real or implied from such information being provided.

2. Collection and use of information

We collect personal information about ChallengeNet.net users during registration and while users visit the site. Using "cookie" technology, the site is able to recognize you as a registered member whenever you visit, as well as automatically detect your membership when you participate in interactive features.

The data we collects is used in the aggregate to give us demographic information about the entire ChallengeNet.net user base in order to improve your experience on the site. We do not share any aggregate information with any third parties.

3. Security, and limitation of liability

We use reasonable precautions to keep the personal information disclosed to us secure. However, We are not responsible for any breach of security over which we have no control. Please be advised that once you link to other sites from ChallengeNet.net, this privacy policy no longer applies.
